Flu and RSV on Rise in Milford Community
We want to make our families aware that Milford is seeing an increase in FLU and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in our community. Please be mindful of how your child is feeling and keep them home if they are exhibiting any signs of illness such as high fever, body aches, cough and congestion.
Although RSV is a mild illness, it can be very dangerous to young children, especially infants.
If your child has any fever, they should remain at home until they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication.
Please see the attached flier on how to distinguish between a regular cold and Influenza. Please call your child's primary care physician if you have any concerns.
