Public Works Employees Promoted

Two employees of the City of Loveland's Public Works Department — Ricky Gregory and Robert Hayden  — were promoted at City Council’s Sept. 27, 2022, meeting.

“The Public Works Department often acts as the unsung hero of the city. Their crew of 14 people takes care of everything the city needs,” said Mayor Kathy Bailey, as she administered the Oath of Office to each employee.

Ricky Gregory was promoted from Maintenance Worker to Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. Gregory has served the city for 24 years and been a water plant operator for approximately 19 years. His role requires ongoing training and professional licenses to operate the plant within EPA standards.

Robert Hayden was promoted from Maintenance Worker to Maintenance Crew Leader. Hayden is a lifelong Loveland resident and has worked for the city for 25 years.

“These two combined have almost 50 years of service to the city. Their commitment to the city is second to none,” stated Scott Wisby, Public Works Director.
