* Diagnose and repair automobile and equipment problems.
* Service and repair transit vehicles and commercial and specialized vehicles.
* Modify vehicles and equipment for specific tasks (install emergency lights, sirens, snowplows, etc.)
* Perform preventive maintenance/routine service on vehicles/equipment.
