Firefighter/ paramedic vacancy
The Pierce Township Fire Department is seeking to fill one (1) vacancy for a Full-time Firefighter Paramedic.
Firefighter/Paramedics work 24/48 schedule with a three (3) week Kelley Day, four (4) floating holidays, and holiday pay incentives. Starting pay is $48,965.90 annually plus competitive benefits package. We anticipate making a conditional offer in November. Prospective candidates must complete an application and have it returned no later than November 2, 2020 at 16:00 hours. Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.
Applicants must possess the following:
• Be a US Citizen
• A valid Ohio driver’s license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ohio Firefighter II and Ohio Paramedic certifications
• No disqualifying criminal convictions
**Ohio Fire Safety Inspector is preferred but not required at time of appointment
