Washington, D.C. - Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) made a visit to the Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. in Greenfield on Tuesday. During his visit, he had the chance to meet with the staff and take a tour of the facility, gaining insight into how it benefits the local residents and assists them in transitioning to a life of independence.
One of the significant contributions made by Rep. Wenstrup to the organization was securing federal grant dollars through Community Project Funding (CPF). These funds were allocated for the extension of a new parking area for the organization, as well as the repair and paving of the current lot. The aim is to increase the number of residents that can be served by the organization. CPF grants are specially directed towards supporting local economic development projects and addressing community needs.
The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. Executive Director, Julia Wise, expressed her gratitude for Rep. Wenstrup's support and advocacy. She highlighted his efforts in enhancing and improving the quality of life in the county and the region.
