Speed Mentoring is a fun and fast-paced event at which volunteers from the business community meet with small groups of students to talk about their work experiences and students' plans for the future.
Small groups of 7-10 students meet with several volunteer mentors during a fast-paced event to explore various career paths and job responsibilities. Mentors share their own experiences in the workplace along with information on their employer and work readiness skills.Every 7 minutes a new group of students will come to each mentor's table. In all, each volunteer will meet with about 250 students during the course of this event.
