PUBLIC SERVICE NOTICE
The City expects Garfield Avenue to be closed for the entire month of December. The City has hired a contractor to stabilize the water and sanitary sewer utilities and make the necessary repairs to our infrastructure. The repairs are scheduled to be completed by Friday, December 9.
Once the stabilization and repairs are complete, contractors hired by the developer at 777 Garfield Avenue will again mobilize and proceed with their intended sanitary sewer work for the residential development project. The City anticipates that this portion of the project will last a couple of additional weeks.
All public safety and school transportation units are working to maintain adequate logistics during the Garfield Road closure.
