Area shredding events are planned for the next two Saturdays

Clermont County recently issued the following announcement.

McNicholas High School, 6536 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230

April 2, 9 a.m.- noon 

Benefits McNicholas Athletic Program and Alumni Association

Document shredding and small electronics disposal.

For $25, participants can shred up to 5 bankers boxes/average sized trash bags of items such as paper, staples, binders, paper clips, hanging file folders, and notebooks.  

For $10, participants can recycle up to 2 boxes or laundry baskets of electronics such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, desktops, and computer towers  (no monitors, keyboards, mice, cords or accessories accepted).

Protect yourself from identity thieves and get rid of unwanted prescription drugs by taking part in the annual WCPO 9 Shred day benefitting Crime Stoppers. 

Donations will be accepted, which will go to Crime Stoppers to help solve crimes in our community.

4 Bag or box limit

What you can shred: All paper, rubber bands, paper clips, staples, notebooks, file folders, alligator clips, blueprints.

What you CAN NOT shred: Batteries, metal items, hard drives, computers, electronics, plastic bottles, glass, perishable items, food, liquids.

What’s accepted for the Drug Take-Back: Over-the-counter medications and prescription pills.

What’s NOT accepted for the Drug Take-Back: Liquids, ointments, needles, pens, gels creams.
