Clermont County recently issued the following announcement.
The Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board (CCMHRB) seeks applicants for the Executive Director position. The CCMHRB is the local public agency responsible for the planning, funding, evaluation, monitoring, and coordination of a continuum of mental health and substance use disorder services and supports in Clermont County. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who provides innovative leadership, develops effective relationships with providers, seeks participation from consumers and family members, and actively develops strong partnerships within the community. The candidate must have demonstrated budgetary, strategic planning, public policy, program planning and development, community relations, levy promotion, and analytical, communication, and computer skills.
The position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree with a preferred master's degree in a mental health and/or addiction related field and at least five years in program management and administration. A master's degree in other professions may be considered, provided the candidate has relevant experience in the mental health, addiction, or human services fields.
The Executive Director reports to a 14-member Board of Directors, with responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Board and a budget of over $7 million which funds prevention, treatment and recovery services and supports provided by three non-profit agencies.
