Clermont County recently issued the following announcement.
Clermont County’s Department of Community and Economic Development is accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant program. The application process closes on Feb. 11.
CDBG is a federal grant program through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provides grant funds for eligible projects that serve low- and moderate-income residents, eliminate slums and blight, and create decent affordable housing for low-income households. The Clermont County Board of Commissioners has awarded over $7 million dollars to fund local projects and programs since becoming an Urban Entitlement in 2015. All participating townships, cities, villages, and non-profits are invited to apply.
